Third Grade WritingMany third graders are beginning to learn about words and phrases, but often times, there is not much in the way of a formal introduction or introductory paragraph. A review for a previous lesson could be appropriate, but it is also important to review the following material: who and where. The personal and physical properties that make up the place, along with the places that support the students and the functions that they perform.This can be practiced with a blank page, but often times a traditional essay will be preferred. This section can be done with introduction, present tense or present continuous verbs.In the event that the teacher is not able to write an essay, this material can be used as a review for the previous lesson. Or they may choose to include it with an essay topic to create the start of a new essay. It is only a matter of practicing the skills.For grades four through eight, consider what the student has learned in the first year. What is the ba sic element that they were taught in the third grade? The element of motion, which is explored in the third grade writing fundamentals.Try to incorporate this element into the topic and the sentence structure of the essay, but avoid using the words 'like'as' as the subject. Focus on the motion of the student. The word like and as should be avoided and replaced with verbs that reflect the motion.Let the student dictate the final sentence, but use a good grammar and spelling guide, when the student is starting to practice using the real writing skills. It is okay to deviate from the guideline. The goal is to make sure that the students understand how the key elements of sentence construction and word choice to work together.Such lessons are vital in the teaching of college level English. Without the ability to write well, how can they expect to be taught, without being able to write well? This should be reviewed at each grade level in the English.The writing skills are also learned th rough other writing lessons, but without proper guidance and the guidance of a writing guide, the students lack the quality writing skills needed to succeed in the world of higher education. As such, when reviewing Third Grade Writing, it is important to follow through with the following: practice what you read, be honest and true, ask questions, pay attention to detail, build on the foundation, and use the written communication skills to help you develop your reading skills.
